The planned investments 2017-2021 are US$ 74.1 billion. This amount represents a reduction of 25% compared to the previous plan. The Exploration and Production segment will absorb most of Petrobras’ own investments, concentrating 82% of the resources. The area of Refining and Natural Gas will receive 17% of the total, while other areas of the company will account for 1%. The production target in Brazil’s oil and natural gas was fixed at 2.8 million barrels per day (bpd) in 2021, considering the entry into operation of 19 production systems in the period 2010-2021.

Despite a lower investment plan compared to the past, it is still a great amount of investment that will demand vessels, services, oil equipment and everything related to the oil market, especially in Upstream.
