Beverley is an experienced commercial attorney with extensive knowledge and experience supporting technology-based and industrial corporations in their key transactions and day to day. Her strengths include good personal skills and proactive seeking of a win-win solution in situations of conflict, as well as confident and close support of the client in key business matters using mediation skills to mitigate conflicts. She had more than ten years of business experience before studying law and her business experience (in the hi-tech and chemical industries) gives her an advantage when considering the commercial implications of her legal counsel. Amongst others: She can offer intelligent and practical legal counsel and support to clients in order to mitigate legal and financial exposures and safeguard assets; has a good understanding of business processes and logistics, Intellectual Property, FOSS (free and open source software) and finance. She drafts, reviews and negotiates terms and conditions in a wide variety of domestic and international commercial contracts, including complex finance agreements, subscription agreements, sales and purchase agreements, licensing agreements, OEM agreements, distribution agreements, consulting services agreements, and research and clinical study agreements. She has experience in many key technology industries amongst others Medical Devices Industry, Aeronautics, and Solar Energy.
