Mr. Surapon Thawanyavichajit, CPA, MBA, CPIAT, is the Partner and owner of Multiplus Audit and Consulting Co., Ltd, a tax, professional audit and consulting firm in Bangkok, Thailand. He is an experienced auditor with extensive expertise in various areas and types of services including financial audit, internal audit, mergers and acquisitions due diligence, joint ventures, cross-border transactions, corporate restructuring, banking and finance, project finance, debt restructurings. He gains wide business experiences such as energy, oil, and gas, mining, wind energy, manufacturing, logistics, retails, e-commerce, insurance, trading, hotel, and hospital, etc. Mr Surapon started his professional career in 1988 in SGV Na Thalarng Co., Ltd (currently is KPMG - Thailand). He left the firm and joined various international professional firms such as BDO and other local audit firms. He spent more than 20 years as a tax and business consulting including audit where he was involved in numerous projects such as M&A due diligence, tax due diligence, MIS and accounting system design. In 2012, He comes back to join KPMG again as Audit Partner which handled Financial Service Audit Section. He also joined the special projects for both private and public entities. He left KPMG and join his family professional business. He has started for internal audit service with the internal audit certificate (CPIAT) which make him can provide the internal audit service for IPO (Initial Public Offering) and internal audit for listed companies for Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand (SEC) and The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). The major works involve the adequacy of internal control for both IPO and listed companies. He is responsible for reporting the internal audit result to the Audit Committee as a quarterly basis. Such internal audit work involves the internal audit practices based on The Institute of Internal Audit of Thailand, the institute's practices and guides are the conformity with The Institute of Internal Audit of United States. He also gains the high experiences from such internal audit work including the assessment of effectiveness and efficiency, enterprise risk, information technology risk, operational risk, financial risk, and human resource risk, etc. This service is required by Multinational Companies and the Companies who have foreign headquarter to have the confidence that the local practices, law compliance, headquarter policies and any instructions have complied in order to minimize the operational risk. During his professional work, at least 20 years, he also has been many university lecturers for Accounting, Strategic Management, and Tax. He also assists and involves in the universities' project such as Young Entrepreneur Project, Tax and Accounting Clinic, Business Advisor, etc. He also has been the public speaker/trainer for IFRS courses for more than 15 years. He was invited by various public entities and in-house training. Among those in-house training, he was invited by Office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunication Commission, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited, BEC-Tero Entertainment Public Company Limited, etc. He understands the roles and manners of being director because he had been the public company director as Independent Audit Committee for 15 years. His responsibilities are reporting to the board on a quarterly basis, playing a key role in assisting the board to fulfill its oversight responsibilities in areas such as an entity's financial reporting, internal control systems, risk management systems, and the internal and external audit functions.

The services are statutory audit, internal audit, business, and operational risk assessment, Tax and Advisory, IT Audit, ERP Implementation, and company incorporation. Our other companies in the group provide bookkeeping, tax filing, salary and payroll service, IT network set up and programming.
Clients range from small and medium enterprise companies to public listed companies and foreign multinationals. The firm is now with 3 lead partners and more than 25 staffs.
