About
1. Confirm the current source of truth Back up the Sanity dataset and current build/configuration; use the latest published records. Hidden/deleted profiles may still have cached detail pages. Do not rerun the original hide batch: six profiles were subsequently restored. Preserve current approved active profiles. Confirm any proposed source-data deletion list with me before applying it; check drafts and references. Do not restore removed records from backup. 2. Clear the correct caches Invalidate the affected Vercel/Next.js data and page caches, including /network, member detail URLs, old slugs, profile metadata and sitemap entries. Redeploy without reusing stale cached data if required. Cover www and non-www paths. Clearing your browser cache alone is not a purge. 3. Complete the specific clean-up Verify that hidden profiles (including Hilary Clinton and Antonio Carluccio) and the deleted Akbar Ali/Jamil Ahmud profiles are not publicly served. Delete only the identified Ali Shan test/placeholder record in Studio. Refresh Herve Kabanda and Herbert ZZIWA’s titles so they show “Rwanda”, not “Rowanda”. Separately remove the outdated Bloomsbury member-firm claim at https://events.adamglobal.com/blog/speaker/jamil-ahmud/ and clear that site’s cache. If it is outside your access, identify the responsible web administrator. 4. Prevent recurrence and verify Ensure production detail queries serve only published, active records and return a genuine HTTP 404/410 for missing or inactive profiles, without personal details in HTML, metadata or public payloads. Add authenticated Sanity revalidation for publish, update, unpublish and delete events, including old and new slugs. Test in staging. Then check every affected URL logged out, using normal URLs and repeat requests; retain a URL/status checklist and confirm active profiles still work.
