Privacy notice

Last updated: 4 October 2026

1. Who we are

Adam Global Network Limited is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17047747. Our registered office is 146 High Street, Billericay, England, CM12 9DF.

For privacy questions, rights requests, objections or complaints, email chairman@AdamGlobal.com.

2. Information we use

  • your name, role, firm, business contact details and professional profile;
  • membership enquiries, applications, preferences and verification records;
  • member-account, authentication, session and profile-management records;
  • correspondence, event activity, introductions and cross-border enquiries;
  • payment, invoice and transaction-status information where you buy a service;
  • marketing preferences, consent evidence, objections and suppression records; and
  • technical information such as IP address, browser, device, page activity and referral source.

Please do not submit client names, confidential advice, special-category information or criminal-offence information through a general enquiry or membership form. If a representative matter is relevant, anonymise it.

3. Where information comes from

We receive information from you, your firm or colleagues, member referrals and introductions, and public professional sources such as firm websites, Companies House, professional and regulatory registers, directories, event material, press coverage and business-facing social-media profiles. Where we first contact you using information obtained elsewhere, we identify the source or source category in that communication where required.

4. Why we use information

  • to answer enquiries and take requested steps before entering a contract;
  • to assess, verify, administer and renew membership;
  • to provide member accounts, professional profiles and network services;
  • to operate events, introductions and cross-border coordination;
  • to collect fees, keep financial records, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations;
  • to secure and improve the website and our systems; and
  • to send relevant business-to-business communications where the law permits.

Depending on the activity, we rely on contract, steps requested before a contract, legal obligation, consent, or our legitimate interests in operating and developing a governed professional network. We assess legitimate interests before using named business contacts for direct marketing.

5. Business-to-business marketing

We may send relevant business communications to decision-makers at UK limited companies and limited liability partnerships where we have completed a legitimate- interests assessment and the contact is professionally relevant. We identify Adam Global Network, explain the source of the contact information and provide a simple opt-out. We do not use this route for sole traders or partnerships treated as individual subscribers without the consent or other permission required by law.

You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing at any time. Reply “unsubscribe” or email chairman@AdamGlobal.com. We will stop marketing and retain only the minimum suppression record needed to respect your choice.

6. Website forms, member accounts and public profiles

Information entered into our contact, event, mandate and membership forms is submitted to our website systems. It may be recorded in our content and membership system, synchronised with our customer-relationship system, used to assess an application and sent to authorised staff by email. Form submissions use Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce spam and abuse.

Member accounts use essential authentication and session records. Passwords are stored only in protected hashed form. Where payment is required, Stripe processes the checkout and card details; we receive payment and transaction-status information but do not store your full payment-card number.

Approved member and leadership profiles may be published through our Sanity content system and indexed by search engines. A profile may include professional biographical information, firm, location, photograph, achievements, business contact details, website and professional social links. Contact us to correct information or ask us to restrict or remove a profile, subject to applicable rights and contractual requirements.

7. Website providers, cookies and external content

The website is hosted by Vercel and uses Sanity for content and membership records, HubSpot for customer-relationship management, Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email and Cloudflare Turnstile for form security. These providers process information only as needed to supply their services to us.

We use essential storage and cookies for security, member sessions and your cookie preference. Google Tag Manager and analytics measurement operate with analytics storage denied by default and are enabled only if you accept analytics cookies. You can withdraw that choice by clearing site data for this domain and choosing again. Vercel also provides website performance and usage measurement.

Pages may load video or image content from services such as YouTube or Vimeo. Those services may receive technical request information such as your IP address, browser, device and the page making the request. External event-registration links take you to the named provider's service and privacy terms.

8. Who receives information and international transfers

We share information only where necessary with hosting, content, communications, customer-relationship, payment, accounting, security and professional-advice providers; with member firms for a requested introduction or network service; and with courts, regulators or authorities where required by law. Some providers and member firms are outside the United Kingdom. Where UK transfer rules apply, we use an applicable adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguard or another lawful transfer mechanism.

We do not sell personal information.

9. How long we keep information

We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose collected and to meet legal, accounting, complaint and claims requirements. We review cold-outreach and unsuccessful-application records for continuing necessity, retain membership and transaction records for the relationship and applicable statutory period, and keep a minimal suppression record while needed to prevent renewed marketing. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required, unless a legal hold applies.

10. Your rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information, object to processing, receive portable information and withdraw consent. These rights are not all absolute. Contact chairman@AdamGlobal.com to exercise a right or make a data-protection complaint.

You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. See ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

11. Changes to this notice

We review this notice when our services, suppliers or legal obligations change. The current version and its last-updated date will appear on this page.
